Atomic Kitten, B*Witched and more lined up for Ashton Court music festival

Some of the biggest music stars of the 1980s and 90s will be performing at a two-day concert in North Somerset this summer.

The Let’s Rock Bristol! festival will descend on Ashton Court in June and the line-up for this summer was confirmed this week.

The opening day, on June 3, will see 1980s acts take centre stage with Gloria Gaynor, Village People, Black Lace, T’Pau, Kim Wilde and more all booked to perform.

And on the second day attention will turn to the 1990s, as Atomic Kitten, Happy Mondays, Toploader, Lightning Seeds and B*Witched perform live.

Festival organisers are allowing people to camp throughout the weekend. Campers on the night before the festival will get to enjoy Midge Ure and Modern Romance too.

A spokesman said: “Let’s Rock Bristol! is aimed at the whole family, with entertainment for everyone. Children can enjoy tons of free stuff, including circus workshops with the Bigtopmania.

“With a super funfair as well as children’s entertainers, Let’s Rock Bristol! offers the perfect day out for all the family. There will also be multiple bars, plus a wide range of quality food outlets selling food from around the world.”

A VIP enclosure too will be set up, with ticket-holders getting a few extra festival perks.

Day tickets, priced £23.10-132, and weekend camping passes, priced £49.50-242, are now on sale. Family deals are available.
