Made in North Somerset festival returns

SOME of the finest arts and crafts in North Somerset will be on show as part of a three-week festival later this year.

Made in North Somerset will return for its second year, and will include events held across the district.

Co-ordinators North Somerset Council and North Somerset Arts are in the process of scheduling a series of events, while the festival will be launched at an event at Sidcot Arts Centre on September 15 and 16.

More than 40 businesses will be showcased at a food and craft market at Tyntesfield on September 30 from 10am-4pm.

Arts, craft, food and drink-related businesses are being urged to get involved and sign up for the festival, where they could host their own events.

These events will then be included in a festival programme which will be distributed across the district prior to the event.
