North Somerset Arts week may have drawn to a close earlier this month, but that did not stop the creative juices to continue flowing in Portishead.

St Nicholas’ Church, in Nore Road, opened up its doors for the members of Portishead Quilters to display their excellent craftsmanship to the public.

The artistic festival began on May 11 and lots of people took the chance to see the work up close.

The exhibition came to an end on Saturday.

The group meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, with the exception of August, at Redcliffe Bay Hall.
