Hundreds of pieces of art will be on display this week at a charitable exhibition.

Tutor Dawn Cox has organised for her students to put their ‘wonderful’ pieces on show at The Old School Rooms in Congresbury this weekend.

She said: “I’m very proud of all the hard work that everyone has done in preparation for this exhibition.

“The quality of the work is wonderful.

“It is a demonstration of the super talent we have in the area.

“We will have amazing homemade cakes in our pop-up café, a tombola, Christmas cards and jewellery (for sale).

“Lots of things to give you a head start for Christmas, and for a good cause.”

The exhibition, featuring more than 400 creations, will run from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Money raised from the event will be split between WaterAid and Weston Hospicecare.
