Somerset Gryphons travelled to Exeter in the hopes of picking up more points against Isca.

With some key players absent, motivation initially appeared a struggle and a disciplined Isca capitalised on this with a number of breaks, two of which resulted in slick goals.

Unfortunately, although Gryphons were able to reach the D on occasions as well, with the exception of club member of the month Tash Ferson’s early effort, Gryphons were not able to get any clean shots off to threaten the Isca goalkeeper.

Gryphs came out in the second half with renewed vigour and determination, with more possession and more pressure in the opposing half.

Still unable to penetrate the D, they could not open the scoring and Isca scored a third goal from a slipped penalty corner, finally beating player of match goalie Jenny Newton to complete the score line of 3-0 to Isca.
