Success for Clevedon teams

Clevedon Tennis Club’s senior team have enjoyed success at home and on the road.

The senior teams at Clevedon Lawn Tennis Club have enjoy success home and away this season.

The Division 2 team, in the Avon LTA Summer Seniors League, secured an away victory against Writhlington (8-2). At home, the Division 4 side enjoyed a convincing win against Coombe Dingle (also 8-2). Both teams now have good prospects for promotion next season.

The club caters for all ages and competency levels as well as entering teams in various local leagues across the age groups.

The club, situated on Princes Road, was founded in 1880 and boasts four artificial grass courts, all with floodlights, superb spectating areas and a newly-renovated clubhouse with kitchen, lounge, bar, changing and shower facilities and ample car parking.
