KEEN athletes are invited to take part in a run through ancient woodland, fields and forest.
Nailsea Running Club has organised the Ironwood Challenge for February 26, when competitors will take on a six-mile route across land near Long Ashton.
Starting at 11am at Long Ashton Sports Hall in Keedwell Hill, the event will raise money for local charities including Nailsea’s MS therapy centre, Children’s Hospice South West, Nailsea’s Parkinson’s society, Backwell Woodland Trust and Motivation.
Entry is £6 in advance or £7 on the day and the closing date for postal entries is one week before race day.
