Two Clevedon Ladies rugby team players have been called up to play for the England Deaf Rugby Union team.

Clevedon Ladies rugby team were so proud at the weekend when two of their players were chosen to play for the England Deaf Rugby Union team against Portsmouth Valkyries.

The game was streamed live which was fantastic, as it shows how women’s rugby is finally getting the support it deserves.

Helen Kirkup and Ruth Dives are pictured after a fantastic 80 minutes showing what rugby is all about - mud, smiles and teammates.
