Two Backwell Swimming Club member recorded personal best times at the national youth championships.
BACKWELL senior swimmers competed at Plymouth in the national youth championships.
Katie O’Malley, aged 17, Ross Mould (18), Richard Hill (20) and Bjorn Hoffmann (37), all turned out to represent Backwell.
Seventeen events were swum with six top six finishes recorded. Personal bests were swum by Hoffmann (26.99 for 50m free), and 31.67 by O’Malley for 50m back.
