Clevedon Athletic Club members took part in half marathons at Cheltenham and the Forest of Dean.

The half marathon distance was the choice for Clevedon Athletic Club members last weekend.

Jeanne Fairs travelled to Cheltenham, where the race starts and finishes at the famous racecourse. Runners head towards the Regency town centre, enjoying great views of the Cotswold countryside before returning for a final lap around the racecourse and a grandstand finish. Jeanne completed the event in a great time of 1.46.37.

Mike McGinn and Sally Richards took part in the popular Forest of Dean Autumn Half. The race takes place in the heart of the forest giving runners the opportunity to take in the stunning autumn colours as they weave their way up and down the route.

Congratulations to Mike, who was racing in club colours for the first time and came across the line in 1.57.20, with Sally finishing in 1.50.08.

If you want to join in with the success of Clevedon Athletic Club, please come along to a training session, full details on the website. www.clevedonac.co.uk
