Somerset Gryphons battled hard to come back from 0-2 down after 20 minutes to win convincingly at home against Isca 3rd XI.
After a sleepy start, allowing goals from two breaks, Gryphons came together and a well-drilled reverse flick from Sophie Feboul saw Amy Homitzsky tuck the ball in to reduce the gap to 1-2. Lara Ford then hit the backboard from a short corner strike to bring the score level at half time.
Gryphons dominated the second half after a motivating half time team-talk, winning most 50-50 balls and taking the lead after a few minutes courtesy of Emma Tilley.
Player of the match Lara Ford extended the lead with a further two goals, one from a short corner straight strike and another with a reverse shot after taking on the goalkeeper in a one-on-one, allowing Gryphons to celebrate three out of three home game wins this season.
