The latest midweek Stableford competition at Clevedon Golf Club was decided by countback in both divisions.

The midweek Stableford competition at Clevedon Golf Club turned out to be another closely-contested affair.

Tim Aldom and Heather Priestley both returned scores of 41 points and countback had to be used again to decide the winner. A stronger performance on the back nine, including six pars, gave Tim the edge, leaving Heather as the runner-up.

Steve Jones also put together a very good performance in recording a score of 40 to finish third. All three have been rewarded with handicap reductions.

It was a similar story in Division 2 as Chris Martin and Peter Williams finished with totals of 37 points, Chris winning out on countback with Caroline Fairhurst coming third, just a point further back.

Results - Division 1: Tim Aldom 41 pts (countback); Heather Priestley 41; Steve Jones 40. Division 2: Chris Martin 37 points (countback); Peter Williams 37; Caroline Fairhurst 36.
