North Somerset Tennis Academy had two of its teams in action, both playing away matches.

It was another full weekend of tennis for the North Somerset Tennis Academy players, with the Under-9s and 10s both playing away matches.

The Under-10s played their first match of the season away to Backwell, with excellent tennis played by both teams. Congratulations to Backwell who won the match overall and to Daisy, Archie and Sydney.

TheUnder-9s had a tough away fixture to Rodway, with the home side fielding some Avon county players. The NSTA team played brilliantly, competing well and playing some amazing tennis.

Rodway ran out the winners and congratulations go to Thea, Hugo, Phoenix and Alex.

Next up is the Under-8s who are playing this Sunday against Backwell, 9.30am at the seafront tennis courts. Good luck to Anderson, Alice, Henry and Lyra.

To be part of the tennis academy, please contact Stuart on 07593 456869 or email stuart@n-somersettennis.com for a free taster session - rackets provided.
