Swiss Valley Girls Under-12s defeated Wellington 5-2 with a hat-trick from Ella and a brace from Jasmine.

Swiss Valley Girls Under-12s entertained Wellington for the first time ever.

The match-up seemed fairly even with the taller away side looking strong on the attack for the first 20 minutes, with the hosts taking a little time to settle down.

The end-to-end action proved to be great entertainment for all spectators with the score at 3-2 at the half-time whistle.

The second half was no different except the Wellington team were unable to get anything past Amelia, who was outstanding in goal.

Ella scored another great goal before the end to bag her fourth hat-trick this campaign. Jasmine also scored a great team goal to add to her tally of two for the match.

A great supporting effort from teammates Fern, Maggie, Xara, Alise, Celia, Hannah, Shannon, Cecily and girl of the match Libby.

The Under-10s also had a home match playing against the older under-11 team of Ashton Girls.

The away side were always favourites with Swiss fielding several new players starting their development journey.

The score was to finish 10-4 to the away side, but a great effort nonetheless from the Swiss girls.

Kaylin, Jas K, Ella H, Brook, Darcy, Maya, Maddie and girl of the match Lily, who scored a wonderful solo effort.
