FITTIES with Titties with Dan Jones on fire, just missed out on going top of the Clevedon Monday night six-a-side league on goal difference after beating Intermatalan 8-0.

The impressive Missing in Action beat FC Copenbadly 8-0 to go top. This game was played in great spirit and the sportsmanship was evident before the start when Copenbadly agreed to play four outfield players when they had eight players because MIA could not field a full team.

Jason Phelan’s side are now in top place for the sportsman’s award at the end of the season.

Last season’s league winners Dench hit form again with a 4-3 win over an excellent Headloss, who were unusually poor in front of goal. Runners-up last season Intermatalan are bottom after a second consecutive loss, with Alex Harding scoring in the correct end this week.

All players are reminded that shin guards must be worn and players without them will not be allowed to play.
