Toolstation Western League Division 1 side Ashton & Backwell United are looking to recruit a new manager for next season following Paul Wearing and Rich Ford’s decision to stand down.

New chairman Mike Thomas would like to thank Paul and Richard for all their hard work and time they gave the club in what proved to be a very difficult season.

He said: “Player unavailability was the worst I have known in eight years here, mainly due to injuries and then suspensions.

“I feel we have a lot of potential at Backwell, possibly the best youth policy in the Western League, premier division facilities and the pitch in its best condition for years.”

Anyone wishing to apply for the vacancy or require further information, please contact Mike Thomas on 07515 112830 or email mike@bristolwindowstore.co.uk
