Gordano Comprehensive School Under-15 girls’ football team are through to the semi-finals of the National Cup.
GORDANO Comprehensive School Under-15 girls’ football team are through to the semi-finals of the National Cup.
This is a competition that started off with nearly 400 teams throughout England back in September.
They started off by beating Backwell 3-0 in the first round, followed wins against St Bede’s 9-0; Crispin School 4-3; Exmouth Community College 6-1; Brimsham Green 5-2; Poole High School 4-3 and in the quarter-finals they defeated the John Madjeski Academy 5-2.
In the semi-finals they are due to play Drayton Manor School (Ealing) after half-term. Other schools left in the competition are from Cleveland, Northampton and Walsall.
