North Somerset Tennis Academy are now a registered LTA venue/club.

There was fantastic news for North Somerset Tennis Academy as they are now a registered LTA venue/club.

Head coach Stuart said it was amazing news for the academy, all the hard work over the last year by everyone has really paid off, to be recognised by the LTA (tennis governing body) is such a great achievement.

With free membership, a chance to win Wimbledon tickets and other great benefits, there is no better time to join NSTA, this also gives everyone a chance to play or be involved in tennis.

North Somerset Tennis Academy will have six teams in this year’s team tennis event which starts next month. Having these teams playing in this event is important for their development.

Having two Under-8 teams as well as all age groups up to Under-16, shows the level of commitment by the players and parents to progress.

The academy has also entered one adult team in the event, which will continue to grow with the new upcoming adult coaching and adult match play programme.

The academy will be running Easter half-term tennis camps at St Nicholas Chantry, Highdale Avenue, Clevedon BS21 7LT, between March 26-29 and April 3-6.

The days will be action-packed with team games, tennis drills, matches and the mini tennis Olympics. Score points for your team, become champions in the Davis Cup tournament and make great friends along the way.

No tennis experience required. LTA qualified team, first aid trained and DBS checked. Times are between 9am-1pm and three days cost £35 or four days for £40. Early drop offs available.

Activities are divided into age groups or playing ability. All players are welcome from three to 16-year-olds.
