Nailsea Cricket Club’s youth section will start indoor nets on February 5 at Backwell School.

Nailsea Cricket Club’s youth section will be commencing their winter training programmes on February 5.

The Under-7s and 9s will start on February 5 until March 26 at Backwell School (6-7pm), while the Under-11s train between 7-8pm.

The Under-13s and 15s will train at the Downs School starting on February 9 until March 30 (6.30-7.30pm)

New members are always welcome to attend and parents/carers who would like to become involved in developing the youngsters will also be most welcome. Please refer to the club’s Facebook page for updates and news.

In preparation for the new season, Nailsea’s youth administrator Chris Kivell, has secured a £1,000 donation from Swinton Insurance for the benefit of the youth teams at the club. Chris is pictured passing the cheque to president John Fox at the club’s recent annual meeting.
