CLAVERHAM Cricket Club get their 2012 campaign under way with the start of their pre-season net sessions on February 26.

Nailsea School will host each weekly session, which runs between 4-6pm until April 1.

All current senior players, including Under-17s and Under-15s who are likely to play on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, are encouraged to attend.

The club runs two teams on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. There are also four junior teams in action in the North Somerset League and Bristol Youth Cricket League, from Under-11 to Under-17 level.

Henry Isack will be first team captain for the new season and any prospective players are welcome to attend training. All will be asked to make a contribution to the cost of hiring the nets.
