Clevedon athletes finish first and second

Clevedon Athletic Club members Steve Wood and Matt Crocker finished first and second vet respectively in the Bitton 5k Summer Races Series

There were great results for Clevedon Athletic Club last week at the final race of the Bitton 5k Summer Race Series.

The four-race event takes place on Wednesday evenings along the Bristol to Bath railway path, starting from the former Bitton Station.

Well done to Steve Wood who was fifth in the final race in 17.36. He was closely followed by Matt Crocker sixth (18.29), Tom Abrahams 11th (18.49) and Chris Hillier who achieved a personal best time of 19.50, going sub-20 for the first time.

Prizes were presented for the overall results of the series. Congratulations to Steve and Matt who were awarded first and second vet respectively.
