Nailsea Bowls Club provide excellent indoor facilities during the winter months.

DURING the winter, Nailsea Bowls Club provide taster sessions and coaching for new bowlers using the indoor facilities in preparation for playing outdoors.

Coaching is provided by our own coaches on Wednesday afternoons from 4-6pm, starting on October 3. There is no need to book, just turn up (please wear flat sole shoes), there is no charge for coaching, just £2 for use of facilities.

For further information, please contact John Gardner on 01275 852515 or Pat Hill on 01275 851541.

Nailsea Bowls Club has some of the best facilities in the county. The members enjoy both playing and a strong social life. Its excellent facilities include a quality bowls (six rink) green for summer games, three indoor rinks for winter games, a parent social club, regular social events, a resident chef who provides quality pub grub and other sports such as tennis, skittles, snooker, skittles etc.

The outdoors bowls and indoors bowls are separate clubs and men and ladies have separate sections. However, the two sections work closely together, playing on club fun days, club competitions, friendly matches etc.

A number of men, ladies and mixed friendly games are played during the day, evenings and at weekends.
