Indoor finals held at Clevedon

Clevedon Indoor Bowling Club held the finals of their competitions recently.

The finals of the Clevedon Indoor Bowling Club competitions were completed recently with the following results- open championship: John Hick 21, Stef Branfield 8; men’s championship: John Hick 21, Mark Woods 20; two-wood: John Hick 16, Warren Smith 10; pairs: Gary Jay/Andy Mace 19, Graham Tripp/Peter Bissett 15.

Ladies’ championship: Stef Branfield 21, Sheila Short 16; two-wood: Stef Branfield 14, Jacqui Branfield 9; pairs: Anne Ford /Stef Branfield 25, Jacqui Branfield/Deb Brown 16.

Newcomers: Hedley Austin 21, Gill Townsend 15; Tyros: Brian Herbison 21, Lorraine Wills 3.

Attention now turns to the outdoor green with opening day being on Saturday. The club are always looking for new members and anyone interested should contact us at join@clevedonbowlingclub.co.uk or telephone our secretary Vernon on 01275 872828.
