Clevedon president bowls the first wood

The president of Clevedon Bowling Club opened proceedings with the first wood of the new season at Dial Hill.

A well attended opening day took place at Clevedon Bowling Club, Chapel Hill.

The first wood of the new season was bowled by president Lyn Palmer. A friendly inter-club match took place on a good-paced green.

The new season is full of interesting matches with the usual league fixtures and national competitions together with many touring sides. Club nights recommence on Monday, starting at 6.30pm, and will take place every week.

Anybody interested in joining is welcomed to come along, meet the members and have a roll up. Car park entrance is in Princes Road.
