The Under-8 North Somerset Tennis Academy team gave a fine performance against Backwell in a red ball team event.

North Somerset Tennis Academy Under-8 red ball team played at weekend against Backwell.

Excellent tennis was played both teams and congratulations to Backwell who won overall. Well done Alice, Anderson, Henry and Lyra. Their next match is at home (seafront tennis courts) on November 25 at 9am.

The Under-9s are playing this Sunday away to Backwell, best of luck to Thea, Harry, Phoenix and Alex.

NSTA are now running performance groups which is fantastic for their development, increased match play with competitive matches all year round.

The academy offer free taster sessions. Rackets are provided and there are no expensive membership or admin fees.

The academy is also the main coaching provider for local schools and are dedicated to provide tennis to the local community and provide a pathway for them.
