FABULOUS photos and perfect prints are the result of 60 years' hard work by this club.
Bleadon Photographic Group was formed decades ago and caters for all abilities, from beginners to experts, and is a great place to make new friends and socialise.
The club is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain, an organisation which co-ordinates specific activities for photographic clubs in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The affiliation means members have great opportunities to fill their programme with many expert speakers and judges over the year.
Chairman Carol Wilson said: "We seek to continuously learn about many aspects of photography including printing, digital manipulation, mounting of photographs, and audio visual shows.
"With the rapid development in the last few years of digital cameras and the vast array of software available, Bleadon Photographic Group is an excellent way to share knowledge and keep abreast of the latest imaging techniques and ideas."
During the annual summer break, members will be busy practising their newly-acquired photographic skills in a variety of ways and looking forward to the forthcoming exhibition and the start of September's new season of speakers and events.
The exhibition will be held in conjunction with the Weston Arts Festival at the Old Town Quarry in Weston, from September 13-26. More than 40 members' prints will be displayed, many of which will be for sale.
All of the photographs will be members' original work, with subjects including landscapes, flowers, animals and other amazing shots.
Pop along to view the work and see for yourselves what can be achieved with a little knowledge and an eye for a good photograph. Members will be on hand to offer any advice and information about joining the club.
