On the weekend the clocks went back, it was appropriate there was an autumnal feel to Yatton’s big event on Saturday.

The village hall was full of colourful exhibitions as Yatton Horticultural Society put on a spectacular autumn show.

Everything from beautiful blooms to large vegetables was put before judges.

They surveyed the great array of exhibits before selecting the best to win the main prizes.

Elaine Metcalfe won the prize for the heaviest marrow at Yatton Autumn Show.
