JSP and transport strategy to be discussed at annual parish meeting

Villagers will find out what changes will affect their parish at a meeting on Tuesday.

Wraxall and Failand parish council will hold its annual parish meeting at the Cross Tree Centre, in Bristol Road, at 7.30pm.

The guest speaker is Michael Reep, planning policy manager at North Somerset Council, who is responsible for the new Local Plan.

He will update people on how the Joint Spatial Plan and the associated transport strategy is affecting the Local Plan within the parish and address issues such as development in the greenbelt, pressure from development on the road network and the options for transport corridors to serve the development.

He will also be taking questions.

There is parking in the car park across the road next to the church. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
