DANCERS from across North Somerset took shoppers by surprise when they were involved in a flash mob at The Mall.
Members of Jazz on Tap, which holds classes in Nailsea and Portishead, joined youngsters from the Bristol School of Dancing to perform a spontaneous routine to Copacabana – Dancing Fool at the Cribbs Causeway shopping centre on Saturday.
A flash mob occurs when a group of people suddenly assemble in a public place, perform an unusual or seemingly pointless act for a brief time, before carrying on with what they were doing.
So far more than 1,100 people have viewed a video of Saturday’s flash mob on the You Tube website.
