A BUSY road leading from Portishead into Bristol closed this morning (Fri) following an accident has now been reopened.

A silver Fiat car and a white Mercedes van were involved in the collision, which happened at about 8.45am on the A369 Pill Road between the junctions with Beggar Bush Lane and Portbury Lane.

The A369 was closed from the M5 junction 19 up to the incident site but has now reopened.

Driver should still expect slow-moving traffic while both vehicles recovered from the site.

No-one was hurt during the accident.
