A cash machine in Backwell has been targeted by thieves for the second time this month.

Police are investigating after cash was stolen from the ATM in Rodney Road.

The offenders forced entry to the machine at around 4.25am on Sunday morning, before making off in a car.

Specialist crime scene investigators have examined the area while CCTV and house to house enquiries have been carried out.

The same machine was also targeted in the early hours of September 12, but nothing was stolen on that occasion.
