This year marks the 120th anniversary of the opening of the Weston, Clevedon & Portishead Railway – and to celebrate we are testing readers’ knowledge of what it was like back in the late-19th and early-20th century.
The railway opened in 1897, with the Portishead line arriving a decade later.
It provided easy travel between the modern-day towns but only lasted about 50 years before closing.
To commemorate the anniversary, the WC&P Railway Group is holding a model trains exhibition this weekend.
It will be held at Parish Wharf Leisure Centre on Sunday from 10am-4pm.
* Entry will cost £2-4 for people aged seven and older.
