Blonde hair, pink or none at all? That is the choice facing a fundraiser who is taking part in a three-month charity effort in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Sam Jarvis, from Yatton, has dyed his hair beach blonde after raising £500 in January and plans to go pink once he makes £1,000.
And at the end of March he will chop all his locks off when he ‘braves the shave’.
Sam said: “I’m currently doing various fundraisers to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
“The first is three months sober, which I began on January 1 and will be finishing on March 31.
“I’m also going to be organising a charity event at my local pub, The Railway Inn, where I will be ‘braving the shave’.
“This should be good as my hair is past shoulder length now.”
A charity raffle will also take place that day with prizes such as a hamper, DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House vouchers and more set to be offered.
