Over the weekend, thousands of people flocked to the two-day seafront festival to enjoy one of the town’s most popular festivals.

A large marquee was hoisted up on the Salthouse Fields, while lots of activities were held outside on Saturday afternoon when the weather was at its best.

The show continued yesterday despite the miserable weather, with organisers moving the music acts into the tent so the event remained a success.

The show itself saw hundreds of entrants put their prized displays out for judging, with everything from children’s art to floral displays surveyed.

A raffle was also held, with some of the proceeds due to be donated to the Royal British Legion.

The charity was chosen as 2018 marks the centenary of World War One’s end.
