BRISTOL Airport has been ranked as one of the worst major UK airports in terms of being family friendly, according to a survey.
Only Heathrow in London achieved a worse mark than Bristol in a study carried out by online travel site Skyscanner, which asked more than 1,000 families for their views.
Parents were asked to evaluate airports’ child play areas, shopping options, security processes and food provision.
Bristol Airport scored just 6.56 out of 10 overall and a spokesman said the results were disappointing despite praise for its food service.
He said: “We are disappointed with the overall conclusions as we endeavour to provide a warm welcome to the many thousands of families flying from Bristol Airport every year.”

Child Play Areas = It's an airport not a creche. Shopping Options = It's an airport not a Shopping Mall. Security Processes = You'd moan if the plane was taken over by terrorists. Food Provision = What are you expecting the Ritz at Poundland Prices......J Christ!!!
