New choir members welcome

SINGING groups in North Somerset have begun new terms and new members are welcome to join in.

Singing teacher Wendy Sergeant runs a number of choirs and singing groups in the district.

Portishead Community Choir meets at Avon Way Hall from 8-9.30pm on Wednesdays and Portishead in Harmony meets every Monday from 10.30am-12noon at the Folk Hall in High Street.

Pill Community Choir meets at the communty centre in Church Place from 8-9.30pm on Tuesdays.

Clevedon A Capella meets every Monday at the Methodist church in Kenn Road from 1.15-2.45pm on Mondays and the next monthly meeting of Clevedon Sing Your Socks will be held at Grey Friars Hall in Marine Hill on January 28 from 7.30-9.30pm.
