Clevedon Lions president Paul Pollock hands over to Sue Miller.

Outgoing Clevedon Lions president Paul Pollock passed over the reigns to the new group leader.

Sue Miller will stand as the club’s president for the next 12 months.

She has been involved with the Lions for many years and has recently been the chairman of the North Somerset Zone of Lions Clubs and has stood as president for Clevedon previously.

Mr Pollock, who held the role for two years, expressed his thanks to all who had made his time rewarding and confirmed the Lions would be continuing on with its activities in the community.

The club is well known for its Dream Scheme, which supports and enables groups to complete their projects using funds collected on its Santa Float and classic car show in April.

The Lions also runs a club for the partially sighted, and host a harvest tea in October for senior citizens.
