A new independent financial advisor is available to offer money tips to people living in North Somerset.

Although he lives in Burnham, Stephen Elvin has been working in the district for around 14 years.

He went straight into banking after completing his A-levels and has worked for Barclays.

He is also a qualified mortgage broker.

Stephen said: “I’ve always lived in Burnham but worked around most of the South West for the past 14 years.

“I feel the independent financial advice market is very small and lots of banks have closed their doors to giving advice now.

“There are not a lot of places now where people can really turn to.

“People are really missing out because access to someone like me is really limited.”
