Beautiful blooms, baked goods, crafts and photographs will fill Nailsea School as the horticultural society celebrates the start of spring.

The spring show, on April 7, will feature more than 150 open classes ranging from spring bulbs and cut flowers to cookery, photography and handicrafts.

Children can also take part in the competition by showing off their creative talents in art, crafts and baking.

Visitors can browse the show exhibits as well as a range of stalls and enjoy music from the Filton Concert Band from 12.30-5.30pm at the school in Mizzymead Road.

Admission is £2 and trophies will be presented at 5pm. Show schedules and entry forms are available from Nailsea Library and PS Travel.

Details of show categories and entry forms are also available at
