A fun ride through North Somerset has helped to raise hundreds of pounds for a children’s charity.
The South West Coast Run returned to the county on Sunday.
Motorcyclists and drivers took to the roads in a 45-mile ride, organised by the Bristol section of Vintage Motorcycle Club, to meet like-minded people, while also raising money for Children’s Hospice South West.
More than 120 people took part and rode their bikes and classic cars from Failand up to Portishead, across to Clevedon and back to Failand – stopping for tea, coffee and lunch along the way.
This year marks the 55th run which club chairman John Dodimead said was a ‘big success’.
He said: “We had one rider out with us who was there for the first South West Coast Run and it was a great day out with good weather.”
