An insurance broker has handed hundreds of pounds to a children’s charity.

Clevedon’s Springboard Opportunity Group has accepted a cheque for £500 from Higos Insurance Services.

The charity – which cares for children up to the age of five who need additional help or have a disability – was brought to the company’s attention by an insurance advisor from the town.

Victoria Jones’ nephew Noah is supported by the charity as he has 8p23 deletion syndrome which affects developments.

She said: “Springboard have been essential in Noah’s development since he started nursery with them this year. I am really pleased that the Higos Community Fund have chosen to support such a fantastic charity.”

Springboard business manager Liz Smith said: “We are very grateful for this generous donation from the Higos Community Fund.

“Thanks also to Victoria who suggested we should be beneficiaries of the fund.”
