A girls’ group has been working hard to make handmade items to sell at local events in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Members of 1st Nailsea Girls’ Brigade sold their items at Nailsea Methodist Church craft fair, the Christmas fair and other local events.

The girls raised £300 for the Wraxall charity and the group handed the donation to Kylie from CHSW.

Nailsea Girls’ Brigade is open to girls aged four to 18 and members meet on Tuesdays at 6pm in the Methodist church, in Silver Street.
