People interested in finding out about volunteering are being invited to visit Children’s Hospice South West’s shops.

The Wraxall charity is asking people to pop into its stores from today (Tuesday) until Saturday to learn about the roles on offer.

Stephanie Robey, retail volunteer advisor at the charity, said: “Volunteers are the lifeblood of our shops and we welcome anyone who has ever wondered whether or not volunteering is right for them, to visit their local shop and have an informal chat with the shop team.

“There are so many benefits to volunteering from making new friends to gaining experience, and you’ll also be helping to support your local children’s hospice at the same time.”

The charity has 30 shops which help to raise vital funds for the charity, which supports children with life-limiting illnesses.
