A TEAM of young conservationists have been digging, planting and maintaining a special outdoor area at their school.
Emma, Eddie, Billy, Martha, Charlie and Daisey cleaning out the pond.A group of pupils at St Mary’s Primary School in Portbury meet every week to carry out work at a conservation area.
Based in the school grounds, the area has been created to attract birds and wildlife to the site and also to be used as an outdoor teaching space.
