A school spokesman said: “St Francis School has worked hard this year to increase whole school participation of sport across the school.

“With a variety of sporting events held at the school, ranging from mini tag rugby festivals to whole school cup stacking events.

“It has also been a fantastic bonus to have the new addition of sport leaders to champion sport.”

The School Games Mark is a Government-led scheme which rewards schools across the country for their commitment to the development of competition.
