Children from a Nailsea school marked 100 days of their education life with a party and craft activities.

Pupils from both reception classes at Golden Valley Primary School enjoyed lessons marking the number of days they have been in school.

They children took part in craft workshops and maths activities relating to the number 100.

They also made party hats to wear and decorations for their classrooms.

During the afternoon, both classes enjoyed a 100-day party, which featured dancing, games, tasty food and a cake.

Each child was presented with a badge, which had been designed by a classmate.

A school spokesman said: “Both reception classes a celebrated being at school for 100 days.

“They did craft and maths activities to do with the number 100, and made party hats and decorations. Each child got a badge, designed by a classmate, as a souvenir.”
