In total, 95 per cent of Clevedon School sixth form students who applied to university have got in and 11 students achieved straight As in their three subjects. The school has a 99 per cent pass rate.

Three students will go on to study medicine, and another will learn veterinary science.

Mr Smith said: “Our students have excelled themselves and achieved some outstanding results.
