The opening of a new school, the number of pupils increasing eight-fold and creating great community ties – it is fair to say Karen Sancto’s time as headteacher at Trinity Primary School has been eventful.


Horses, dogs, rabbits, cats, mice and tortoises joined children at a Nailsea school as they celebrated the patron saint of animals.


Pupils are delighted that the school has taken on a dog to help them with their learning.
