Crowds expected for seafront Aquathlon

LIVE entertainment will be provided during the annual Aquathlon at Clevedon’s seafront on Sunday.
Organised by MARLENS, the group which promotes use of the town’s Marine Lake, the event will see music played at the bandstand in Elton Road from 11am-6pm and families are invited to take along a picnic to enjoy the atmosphere.
At 11.45am, the Aquathlon will begin, with competitors completing a swim around the lake followed by a run along the pier and back.
Joe Norman of MARLENS said: “It is going to be a great day for all. We have events and entertainment taking place all day and we’re expecting huge crowds on the front.”
