Congresbury Surgery has quashed fears flu jabs will not be available in the village.
Mendip Vale Medical Practice, which oversees the surgery, confirmed drop-in sessions will not be held in Congresbury due to logistical problems.
But the surgery will offer the chance vaccination appointments.
Executive manager David Clark said: “We are keen for eligible patients to have their flu jab, so as well as the drop-in sessions patients can also book appointments.
“Last year at Congresbury due to the size of the building it was not effective having a drop-in session, so should a patient not want to go to another site they are welcome to book an appointment at Congresbury.
“A recent communication sent to patients did say that if they can’t attend on a Saturday to contact the surgery.”
